Representative Harriet Hageman, who represents Wyoming's at-large district in the U.S. Congress, has utilized her social media presence to express her perspectives on environmental policy, regulatory processes, and energy production. Hageman, a seasoned legislator with a background in law, replaced Liz Cheney in 2023. With roots in Wyoming and academic credentials from the University of Wyoming, she continues to voice her opinions on national issues.

On April 5, 2025, Hageman shared her thoughts on the ongoing discussions surrounding global warming and climate change. She highlighted her belief that future generations would face greater challenges should society refrain from exploiting natural resources. As she stated, "They can scream hysterically about global warming and climate change, but I can assure you 100 years from now people are going to be a lot worse off if we don’t access our natural resources than if we do."

Moving to April 8, 2025, Hageman expressed gratitude towards organizations sharing insights on regulatory processes with the Republican Study Committee's Article One Task Force. She underscored the importance of understanding how the administrative state functions in order to reclaim legislative authority. As she tweeted, "Thank you to @EPICforAmerica & @ceidotorg experts for sharing regulatory process insights with the @RepublicanStudy Committee's Article One Task Force. Reclaiming our legislative authority means reining in the administrative state, which requires expertise on how it works."

Later on the same day, Hageman conveyed her support to the current administration for its actions on coal production. She directed her thanks to the President for stimulating the coal industry, indicating Wyoming's preparedness to capitalize on this opportunity. She expressed her appreciation by stating, "Thank you, @POTUS for unleashing American coal. Wyoming is ready to get to work!"
