Through a series of tweets, she has expressed support for actions taken by President Trump and addressed concerns about government practices.

On January 22, 2025, Rep. Hageman highlighted measures taken by President Trump to secure the U.S. border. She stated, "Promises made, promises kept: President Trump is securing our border through executive actions, including designating cartels as terrorist organizations, deploying troops to the border, enforcing asylum requirements, and restoring birthright citizenship."

Later that day, Rep. Hageman addressed an incident involving the Maude family in a tweet posted on January 22, 2025. She remarked on what she perceives as misuse of governmental power in land disputes: "What has happened to the Maude family is a disgrace to our justice system. Showing up on a ranch in tactical gear over a land dispute is government weaponization and intimidation of our citizens. I won't stand for it."

On January 23, 2025, Rep. Hageman announced legislative progress concerning citizen protection with the House sending the Laken Riley Act to President Trump's desk.
