Rep. Harriet Hageman, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wyoming’s at-large district, has expressed her views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect her stance on regulatory policies, national debt concerns, and oversight responsibilities.
On December 8, 2024, Rep. Hageman commented on a court ruling related to the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). She stated: "While the court’s ruling is a victory, the fight against the CTA is far from over. Congress must seize this opportunity to repeal the CTA and ensure small businesses are protected from the crushing burden of intrusive regulations. The courts have done their job— time to do ours."
The following day, December 9, 2024, she addressed financial concerns regarding federal spending by stating: "In the month of December, the Biden-Harris administration has increased our national debt by $55 billion - more than the annual GDP of Wyoming. Time to stop mortgaging our grandchildren’s future and rein in out of control spending."
Later that day, Rep. Hageman discussed an incident involving pro-Hamas rioters on federal property: "Today, I signed a letter demanding critical information about these pro-Hamas rioters, smiling and filming as our flag was burned on federal property. We must investigate this incident so Congress can exercise proper oversight of NPS lands."
