U.S. Senator John Barrasso has issued a statement regarding the nomination of Governor Doug Burgum for the position of Secretary of the Interior. Barrasso, who serves as the ranking member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, expressed his support for Burgum's nomination.
In his statement, Barrasso highlighted Burgum's experience and capability in managing energy resources and federal lands. "Governor Burgum knows what it takes to unleash American energy," said Barrasso. He further emphasized Burgum's ability to balance environmental stewardship with energy development during his tenure as North Dakota’s governor.
Barrasso also mentioned that under President Trump and Governor Burgum's leadership, there is potential for America to achieve energy dominance.
