Work begins later this month along Nelson Street between E. 3rd and W. 8th streets.
The road will receive ultra-thin bonded asphalt surface (UBAS) treatment. The project includes targeted full-depth patching and curb repair near the elementary school driveways.
Impacted residents should receive notification via doorhangers about the work from the City’s contractor, McAnany Construction. Residents will be able to access their properties throughout the project.
Beginning July 13, Edgerton Public Works crews will be pavement patching along Nelson Street in advance of the UBAS treatment. Curb cutting along Nelson and driveway removal at Edgerton Elementary is expected to start on July 25. UBAS treatment will be applied in early August before school starts.
McAnany will also apply UBAS along West 5th and West Martin streets as part of the annual street maintenance program.
