City of Douglas April Meetings

City of Douglas recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Douglas would like to encourage citizens to attend or become a part of various city committees and boards. Currently, there are vacancies on the Douglas-Coffee County Land Bank Authority, Ethics Committee, Citizens Advisory Committee, Keep Douglas Beautiful Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer on one of these boards, please call (912) 389-3405 or visit https://www.cityofdouglasga.gov.

The following is a list of April 2022 meetings for City of Douglas Boards and Committees.

  • Air Base Preservation and Development Committee – April 11, 12PM, at the Douglas Municipal Airport, 440 Elton Brooks Blvd. 
  • City Commission – April 11 & 25, 7PM, at the CE Weir Center, 307 E. Bryan Street.
  • Recreation Commission – April 12, 11:45AM, Central Square Complex – Magnolia Meeting Room, 200 S. Madison Avenue.
  • Keep Douglas Beautiful – April 12, 2:30PM, Ashley Slater House, 211 S. Gaskin Ave.
  • Downtown Development Authority – April 13, 9AM, Ashley Slater House, 211 S. Gaskin Avenue.
  • Land Bank Authority – April 14, 2PM, Ashley Slater House, 211 S. Gaskin Avenue.
  • Veterans Park Committee – April 20, 10AM, Douglas Municipal Airport, 440 Elton Brooks Blvd.
  • Citizens Advisory Committee – April 20, 6PM, Youth Center, 200F S. Madison Avenue.
  • Douglas Mayor’s Youth Council – April 21, 6PM, Youth Center, 200F S. Madison Avenue.
  • Planning Commission – April 21, 6PM, Ashley Slater House, 211 S. Gaskin Avenue.
  • Historic Preservation Committee – April 28, 4PM, Ashley Slater House, 211 S. Gaskin Avenue.
