Bivalent Covid-19 boosters are available at the Arlington Fire Department's Public Health Unit, which offers COVID-19 vaccines and boosters to the public twice a week.
No appointments are necessary for the vaccine clinics, which will be held between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. The Public Health Unit is located at 2920 S. Cooper St.
These clinics are convenient for those who still seeking their first COVID-19 vaccine or for those who have missed their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine. Covid-19 booster doses are available as well.
Vaccines are available at this location for those who are 12 years of age and older. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 years old will need a parent or guardian on site for consent. Please bring your Covid-19 vaccination record.
Initial COVID-19 Vaccination
Residents ages 18 and up who have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine can choose between the two-dose Moderna or Pfizer vaccines. The Pfizer vaccine is available to residents ages 12 and older at this location.
Bivalent COVID-19 Booster Shots
- Individuals 18 years of age and older are eligible for a single booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent if it has been at least two months since they have completed primary vaccination or have received the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine.
- Individuals 12 years of age and older are eligible for a single booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent if it has been at least two months since they have completed primary vaccination or have received the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine.
Other COVID-19 Vaccine Options
Arlington residents who are homebound because of mobility or medical issues can request that the Arlington Fire Department provide a COVID-19 vaccination. Vaccines will also be provided to caregivers in the home. Please call the Fire Department at 817-575-3700 to request a home visit if you meet these criteria.
