Converse County ranked fifth in Wyoming for resident earnings in 2019

Converse County ranked fifth among counties in Wyoming by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Converse County residents was $34,183 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 5,378 households with a population of 13,921.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Campbell County with $41,471 per year after adjusting for inflation – $7,288 more than Converse County. It had 17,574 households with a population of 47,409.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Niobrara County with $21,065 per year after adjusting for inflation – $13,118 less than Converse County. It had 964 households with a population of 2,422.
