Senator Cynthia Lummis has recently made several public statements via social media regarding her positions on Israel, antisemitism, and digital assets.
In a post dated August 7, 2025, Lummis expressed appreciation for a local event in Teton County, Wyoming: “It was a pleasure to join local AIPAC members in Teton County this week to discuss my strong support for Israel and the urgent need to confront antisemitism wherever and whenever it occurs. Grateful to Joan Goldfarb for putting together such a meaningful event!”
Later that day, she addressed recent actions by former President Donald Trump concerning financial regulations and the digital asset sector. On August 7, 2025, Lummis wrote: “President Trump is taking bold steps to ensure Operation Chokepoint 2.0 never happens again. Thank you, @POTUS, for bringing the digital asset industry back to the United States.” Operation Chokepoint was an initiative launched by federal regulators during the Obama administration that sought to limit certain industries’ access to banking services; critics argued it overreached regulatory authority.
On the same day, Lummis commented on changes affecting retirement accounts and digital assets: “Thanks to @POTUS’s leadership, now millions of Americans can secure their financial futures by including digital assets in their 401(k)s. Today is a historic day for digital assets” Recent policy shifts have enabled broader access for U.S. workers to include cryptocurrencies as part of their retirement savings plans.
Senator Cynthia Lummis represents Wyoming in the U.S. Senate and is recognized for her advocacy of both Israel-U.S. relations and policies supporting cryptocurrency adoption.
