Senator Cynthia Lummis, representing Wyoming, has recently highlighted American energy policy and her legislative achievements in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On October 3, 2025, Lummis posted: “After the Biden admin’s four-year war on the west, President Trump has unleashed American energy. In this time of American energy dominance, I’m proud to lead my colleagues in a resolution celebrating the men and women who power our nation and the world.” She expressed support for U.S. energy workers and emphasized what she described as a shift toward “American energy dominance.”
Later that day, Lummis announced an award from the Institute of Legislative Analysis: “Grateful to receive the Defender of Limited Government award from the Institute of Legislative Analysis. Serving the people of Wyoming is the honor of a lifetime, and I am proud to be a voice for the Cowboy State here in Washington.” The post underscored her commitment to representing Wyoming’s interests at the federal level.
Continuing her focus on domestic energy production, Lummis posted again on October 4: “This is the time for American energy dominance. Proud to lead in celebrating American energy independence and the men and women throughout the west who are powering our lives.”
Senator Lummis has been an advocate for increased domestic fossil fuel production and reduced federal regulation on Western states’ industries. She frequently emphasizes Wyoming’s role as a leading coal producer in national discussions about U.S. energy policy.
