Senator Cynthia Lummis, representing Wyoming in the U.S. Senate, posted several updates on her official X account on July 20 and 21, 2025. Her tweets covered local achievements, public safety concerns, and personal greetings to a fellow senator.

On July 20, Senator Lummis congratulated a local healthcare department for their recent recognition. She wrote, “Congratulations to Powell Valley Healthcare’s Nutrition Services Department on winning the 2024 Turnip the Beet Gold Award from @USDA. It is great to see our community taking care of one another, congratulations again on this amazing achievement.” The Turnip the Beet Award is given by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to organizations that demonstrate excellence in providing nutritious meals to children during summer months.

The following day, she addressed concerns regarding immigration enforcement and criminal activity. In a tweet posted on July 21, she stated, “These are the criminal illegal aliens Democrats are protecting.
Robbers. Human traffickers. Murders. Gang bangers.

My heart goes out to this CBP agent during his recovery.” This message referenced ongoing national debates about border security and law enforcement.

Later that same day, Senator Lummis extended birthday wishes to a colleague from Wyoming. She wrote, “Wishing a very happy birthday to my friend and colleague @SenJohnBarrasso! Grateful to serve alongside you as we deliver for the people of Wyoming. Here’s to many more!” Senator John Barrasso serves alongside Lummis as Wyoming’s other U.S. senator.

Senator Lummis has been an advocate for issues affecting Wyoming residents and regularly uses her social media accounts to highlight community achievements and express her positions on national matters.
