On January 14, 2026, Senator Lummis posted about bipartisan cooperation on new legislation: “Proud of the bipartisan work that went into the Clarity Act. Senator Lummis has a long history of public service in Wyoming and at the federal level. She previously served in both chambers of Wyoming’s legislature, was state treasurer, and held office in the U.S. House of Representatives before her current role as senator.[1] According to her official website,[2] she is also recognized for supporting community service initiatives and family ranching traditions throughout Wyoming.

Lummis’ work includes authoring legislation such as the National Forest System Trails Stewardship Act in 2016[3] and co-founding congressional caucuses focused on fiscal responsibility.[4] Her offices serve communities across Wyoming as well as Washington D.C., ensuring representation at multiple levels.[5]
