Abbey Gate was a devastating attack that should never have been allowed to occur, and I continue to pray for their families and loved ones.” The Abbey Gate bombing occurred during the final days of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021 and resulted in significant loss of life among both military personnel and Afghan civilians.

Later that same day, Lummis highlighted Wyoming’s role in financial technology advancements by stating, “Wyoming continues to lead the way in financial innovation “. Wyoming has gained national attention for its legislative efforts supporting blockchain technology and digital assets regulation.

She posted, “My heart breaks for the victims, children, and families of this wicked and evil shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minnesota.
