Senator Cynthia Lummis, a Republican representing Wyoming in the U.S. Senate, addressed several topics on her social media account on September 9, 2025.

In an early morning post, Lummis commented on international energy markets and the ongoing conflict involving Russia. She stated, “All countries purchasing Russian oil are fueling Putin’s war. It’s time for Europe to play ball with the U.S. and put an end to this senseless conflict.” (September 9, 2025).

Later that day, she expressed appreciation for bipartisan efforts in Congress regarding digital asset regulation. Lummis wrote, “I want to thank my colleagues across the aisle for their constructive digital asset market structure framework. Meaningful legislation takes intentional collaboration & discussion. This is a strong start, and I look forward to working together to secure America’s financial future” (September 9, 2025).

In a subsequent post, Lummis highlighted her engagement with students from Cheyenne East FFA during their visit to the Capitol. She noted the importance of agriculture and career trades in Wyoming’s economy: “I had a wonderful time with Cheyenne East FFA students during their visit to the Capitol. Agriculture and career trades play pivotal roles in Wyoming’s economy, and it is so exciting to see how FFA helps students invest in their futures. Thanks for stopping by!” (September 9, 2025).

Senator Lummis has been active in legislative discussions around both foreign policy issues related to Russia and domestic matters such as digital asset regulation and support for agricultural education.
