Senator Cynthia Lummis, who represents Wyoming in the U.S. Senate, posted several statements on her social media account between November 8 and November 9, 2025. The posts addressed a presidential pardon, allegations of government surveillance, and recognition of military families.

On November 8, Lummis shared news regarding Troy Lake’s pardon by former President Donald Trump. She wrote, “Calling Troy Lake tonight to tell him he’d been pardoned by President Trump was a joyous moment. I’m grateful to @POTUS for standing up for those wronged by the Biden admin’s weaponization against working Americans.

To Troy & Holly, may God bless you!”

Later that day, Lummis alleged improper conduct by federal authorities under the Biden administration. In her post from November 8, she stated, “The Biden FBI spied on me and my Republican colleagues.

This was a direct assault on the separation of powers and outright unconstitutional. We need answers, and we need to hold the Biden administration accountable.”

On November 9, Lummis acknowledged Military Family Month with an expression of gratitude toward service members and their families in Wyoming: “November is Military Family Month.

Our nation’s service members and their families make sacrifices every day to defend our freedom around the world. Thank you to Wyoming’s brave military families for your resilience and service to our country.”

Senator Lummis has previously voiced concerns about actions taken by federal agencies during President Joe Biden’s administration. Allegations involving political surveillance have been a recurring issue in national politics in recent years as lawmakers debate executive branch oversight powers and constitutional protections. The month of November is recognized annually as Military Family Month in the United States to honor military families’ contributions.
