Senator Cynthia Lummis, who represents Wyoming in the U.S. Senate, used her social media account to address several state and national issues over recent days.
On September 1, 2025, Senator Lummis acknowledged the contributions of workers in Wyoming and across the United States, posting: “Happy Labor Day, Wyoming! Thank you to all the men and women whose hard work powers not just our state, but the nation.”
The following day, September 2, she congratulated Rob Wallace for his conservation efforts: “Congratulations to my good friend Rob Wallace on receiving the Murie Spirit of Conservation Award from Teton Science Schools! Rob’s approach to conservation has made Wyoming’s wild spaces better for all of us. Well deserved!”
On September 3, Senator Lummis addressed a legal issue involving First Choice, an organization known for its anti-abortion stance. She stated: “First Choice was targeted for defending the unborn with an outrageous subpoena, demanding a list of their private records, or risk judicial sanctions. I am proud to join @SenTedCruz & @SenTedBuddNC in filing an amicus brief to defend First Choice’s sacred mission. More below.”
Senator Lummis has been active on policy matters related to labor rights and reproductive issues during her tenure in Congress. The Murie Spirit of Conservation Award is presented by Teton Science Schools to individuals who have contributed significantly to conservation efforts in Wyoming.
