Senator Cynthia Lummis, who represents Wyoming in the U.S. Senate, posted a series of messages on her official X account between September 22 and 23, 2025, addressing topics ranging from forgiveness and legislation to holiday greetings.
On September 22, Lummis commented on a recent act of public forgiveness by Erika, whose husband was assassinated. In her post, she wrote: “Just an extraordinary display of grace and strength from this remarkable young woman, who chose to publicly forgive her husband’s assassin in the spirit of Christ. Erika, you and your family remain in the hearts and prayers of the people of Wyoming.”
Later that day, Lummis addressed concerns regarding cryptocurrency kiosks. She stated: “This is something that has concerned me for a long time, and @SenGillibrand and I first introduced legislation stopping bad actors in the crypto kiosk space in 2023. This is just one of the issues we hope to address in market structure.” Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has worked with Lummis on bipartisan efforts to regulate aspects of digital assets markets.
On September 23, Lummis extended New Year greetings to Jewish communities: “Shanah Tovah to my Jewish friends in Wyoming and around the world. May the New Year bring you and your family many blessings.”
Senator Lummis has been active in advocating for both financial regulation—particularly related to cryptocurrencies—and supporting diverse communities within Wyoming.
