Sen. John Barrasso, U.S. Senator from Wyoming, shared a series of posts on social media in mid-November 2025 highlighting his engagement with local organizations and expressing his views on healthcare policy.
On November 14, Barrasso attended the annual gathering of a prominent state agricultural group. He stated, “The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation has been working for more than a century to represent Wyoming’s farmers and ranchers through grassroots policy development and solutions. It was a pleasure to join them for their 106th annual meeting in Gillette today.”
Two days later, on November 16, Barrasso acknowledged community support for veterans in Casper. He wrote, “The Casper community came out tonight to support Honoring 307 Heroes and their efforts to purchase wreaths to lay on the 4,500 plus veteran graves in Natrona County. This year, H307H will partner up with other Casper organizations to host the Wreaths Across America service on”.
Later that day, Barrasso addressed healthcare issues by referencing his professional background and criticizing federal health reform legislation. He posted, “I’ve been a doctor for years. I want people to get the care they need, from a doctor they choose, at a price they can afford.
Obamacare destroyed that possibility.”
Barrasso has represented Wyoming in the U.S. Senate since 2007 and is known both for his medical career prior to entering politics and for advocating rural interests in Congress.
