Sen. John Barrasso, U.S. Senator representing Wyoming, recently highlighted several local and national initiatives in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On August 8, 2025, Barrasso expressed support for former President Donald Trump and recent legislative developments regarding American energy production. He wrote, “Thanks to President Trump and the One Big Beautiful Bill, the shackles are finally off of American energy producers. In Wyoming, we’re unlocking millions of tons of new coal. Wyoming is America’s energy breadbasket. We’ve always had abundant energy resources. Now, we have the”.
The following day, Barrasso acknowledged the work of the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative (@WyBreastCancer), stating on August 9, 2025: “Since 2016, @WyBreastCancer has granted over $1 million to provide critical breast cancer screenings and services across our rural state. It was great to join survivors & supporters at Cheyenne’s Pink Ribbon Run, where every dollar raised in WY stays in WY. #PRR4WBCI”. The Pink Ribbon Run is an annual event aimed at supporting breast cancer awareness and fundraising efforts within Wyoming.
On August 10, 2025, Barrasso commented on community engagement with local emergency services by posting: “It was wonderful to see such a big turnout for the Dubois Volunteer Fire Department’s Buffalo BBQ. This annual event helps support the heroic work of local firefighters who put their lives on the line every day to help protect people and property in Wyoming.”
