Rep. Harriet Hageman, U.S. Congress member for Wyoming’s at-large district, has made several statements regarding election integrity, energy policies, and landowner rights over the past week. She has been serving in Congress since 2023, following Liz Cheney, and has been vocal in her policy advocacies.
On April 12, Hageman emphasized the importance of election integrity, stating, “We must have trust in our elections in order to have trust in our institutions. With national consensus favoring a proof of citizenship requirement to register to vote, the SAVE Act is key to protecting our elections.” She collaborated with Chuck For Wyoming in sharing her latest work in this area.
Later the same day, Hageman reported on the activities of House Republicans. She declared, “This week in Washington, House Republicans unleashed American energy, defended election integrity, and advanced President Trump’s America First agenda.” The statement underscores her continued support for Trump’s policies.
On April 14, Hageman introduced the Landowner Easement Rights Act. She joined forces with Rep. Fedorchak in this legislative effort, which has been endorsed by Americans for Limited Government Liberty. The initiative aims to give more autonomy to landowners, as reflected in Hageman’s post: “This bill: Limits new conservation easements to 30 years Lets landowners renegotiate, renew, or buy back easements at fair market value”.
Harriet Hageman, 60, hails from Fort Laramie, Wyoming, and resides in Cheyenne. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1989, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctor degree, before embarking on her political career.
