Casper Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Mixed Media Fiber Workshop for the Curious Dabbler with Beth Cleary April 23 & 30 from 9 to 12. Workshop fee:* Pay-a-little-less $50 Cost $75 Pay-a-little-more $100 An immersive two-day workshop on creating 2D and 3D mixed media fiber artworks. Learn about materials, surface design techniques and construction methods. Material will be provided for the student to produce a 9”x 12” 2-dimensional or a small 3-dimensional mixed media work, but the student is encouraged to bring fabric, fiber, or ephemera of their choice to include in the work. Class is limited to 12 spots; pre-registration is required. Beth Cleary is a mixed media artist residing in Rawlins, Wyoming. With degrees in chemistry and an M.F.A in sculpture from Houston Baptist University, she creates 2 and 3 dimensional art in fiber, glass, and found objects. It means we believe that financial means should not be a barrier to creative and artistic growth. We will tell you what the cost is for us to put on the workshop, if you can pay a little more, wonderful! But If you need to pay less, you are always welcome! Your payments ensure that we can continue to present workshops. Below are some suggested rates but please feel to contact admin@art321.org if you should need to pay a different amount!
