Later the same day, Barrasso announced an endorsement for Arjun Mody’s leadership role at the Social Security Administration. In his tweet posted at 17:33 UTC, he expressed confidence in Mody’s abilities by stating: “Arjun Mody will be an extraordinary leader at the Social Security Administration under Commissioner Bisignano. President Trump has chosen the best.” He highlighted Mody’s past contributions and dedication to public service.

On July 3, 2025, Barrasso shared news of legislative progress via another tweet: “The One Big Beautiful Bill just passed the House.” He elaborated on its implications by mentioning that it eliminates taxes on tips and overtime pay while lowering taxes on social security. Additionally, he noted that this legislation aims to prevent a $4 trillion tax increase proposed by Democrats and awaits President Trump’s signature.

Arjun Mody was previously part of Senator Barrasso’s staff before being nominated for his new position at the Social Security Administration.
