Hockey Season starts at the Casper Ice Arena Youth & Adult Hockey Seasons Begin

The Casper Ice Arena will host the Casper Oiler’s high school varsity season opener against the Douglas Ice Cats on Friday, November 4 from 7:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The Casper Oilers youth hockey club will be on full display with multiple age groups competing over the weekend. Additionally, the Oilers will host a Try Hockey for FREE event on Saturday, November 5 from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The Oilers have partnered with USA Hockey to provide this opportunity to the community to learn basic hockey skills such as skating, puck handling, and shooting with coaches from the club. All youth, ages 4 to 9 years-old, are welcome to attend the event. For more information about youth hockey, please visit CasperHockey.com.

 The Casper Ice Arena’s adult hockey season begins in November. The rink will host Club Hockey starting on Thursday, November 3 and the Casper Adult Hockey League on Sunday, November 6. Each league provides a wide variety of playing opportunities for men and women to continue playing hockey and stay active. Roster spots are limited for players and goaltenders.
