Her comments address concerns about governmental transparency, international hostage situations, and leadership within federal agencies.
On December 9, 2024, Rep. Hageman criticized the Biden Administration for not releasing the Fall Unified Regulatory Agenda on time. She questioned their transparency by asking, “Now two months overdue, the Biden Admin is shirking its duty of transparency by withholding the Fall Unified Regulatory Agenda. What are they hiding from the people, Congress, and the incoming administration?”
Two days later, on December 11, 2024, she shared her experience meeting with family members of hostages taken by Hamas. She stated her commitment to ensuring their safe return home: “I was humbled to meet with Elan, Amit, and Sasha, family members of hostages taken by the terrorist group Hamas. I will continue to work to ensure all hostages are returned home.”
Later that day, Rep. Hageman commented on FBI Director Wray’s resignation. She criticized his tenure and expressed optimism about future leadership changes: “FBI Director Wray’s resignation was long overdue. As a man who abused federal resources to target private citizens during his tenure, he was not fit to lead the Bureau. I’m looking forward to working with the next director to protect our rights and deweaponize the government.”
