On February 6, 2025, Rep. Hageman announced her participation with the Judiciary GOP Republicans in signing an amicus brief supporting a presidential executive order. She stated: “I joined @JudiciaryGOP Republicans in signing an amicus brief defending @POTUS’s Executive Order affirming the Fourteenth Amendment by blocking executive agencies from granting automatic citizenship to children of illegal aliens.” The brief is available for public viewing online.
Later that day, Rep. Hageman introduced new legislation aimed at protecting gun manufacturers from certain legal challenges. In her post she explained: “I introduced the PLCAA Federal Jurisdiction Act to protect gun makers from radical anti-gun advocates. It enables frivolous state lawsuits to be moved to federal courts, defending Second Amendment rights and affirming my commitment to protect law-abiding gun owners.”
On February 7, 2025, Rep. Hageman addressed a decision made by the Biden Administration regarding wildlife management policies. She noted: “In its final days, the Biden Admin denied states’ petition to delist the GYE grizzly. @RepRussFulcher, @RepRyanZinke, @RepTroyDowning, and I wrote a letter to President Trump & Secretary Burgum urging them to delist the GYE grizzly and return species management to the states.” This statement highlights ongoing efforts related to state versus federal control over wildlife conservation measures.
