The intersection widening project at 8th and Braun streets is continuing. The next phase of this project requires a full closure of the intersection beginning Monday, January 9. The closure is expected to last about three weeks, weather-dependent.

Work will occur Monday-Friday during daylight hours. The City of Edgerton urges all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs around work zones.

During the closure, residents who live on the west side of the intersection should use County Line Road to 207th Street to access their homes. Those who live on the south side should use 215th Street to Edgerton Road.

The City has contracted with Pyramid Contractors to add pavement in all directions, including a new turn lane on southbound 8th Street.
