In her first post of the day, Lummis described the current administration as supportive of digital assets. She wrote, “This is the most pro-digital asset administration in history, and we’re just getting started. It was a pleasure to join @TaliaKaplan and talk about the future of market structure.” (August 22, 2025).

Later that afternoon, she addressed efforts to improve regulatory processes for small refineries. In a tweet posted at 18:11 UTC, Lummis stated, “I have been pushing to clear up this backlog since the Biden admin, and I am pleased to see @epaleezeldin begin to take smart and meaningful steps to support small refineries and bring clarity to how the EPA will handle exemptions going forward.” (August 22, 2025).

By evening, Senator Lummis reiterated her support for the digital asset industry with another message: “.@POTUS is welcoming the digital asset industry back home.” (August 22, 2025).

Senator Lummis has consistently advocated for clear regulation of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. Her state of Wyoming has become a center for crypto-friendly legislation in recent years. In addition to her work on digital assets, Lummis has called for more transparent processes regarding EPA exemptions for small refineries—an issue that has drawn national attention as energy markets adapt to evolving environmental policies.
