Senator Cynthia Lummis, who represents Wyoming in the United States Senate, recently addressed key legislative and regulatory issues through a series of social media posts. The tweets highlight her support for the CLARITY Act and recent decisions by the Department of Justice regarding diesel modifications.

On January 21, 2026, Senator Lummis wrote, “Real progress requires real coalition-building. The CLARITY Act brings together voices across the digital asset ecosystem who are ready to move forward. We have the administration. We have the momentum. What we need now is action before the opportunity slips away.”

In another post on January 22, 2026, she commented on a Department of Justice decision: “The DOJ made the right call here. Kudos to @potus and @AGPamBondi. These diesel modifications should never have been subject to prosecution.”

Later that day, Senator Lummis reiterated bipartisan industry support for new legislation: “Broad industry agreement is rare but we have it on the CLARITY Act. Builders, investors, and innovators across the ecosystem agree this moves us forward. With a pro-crypto president ready to act, we can’t wait. America’s leadership depends on it.”

Senator Lummis has served as Wyoming’s U.S. senator since becoming the first woman elected to represent Wyoming in that chamber in 2021 and maintains offices throughout Wyoming communities as well as Washington D.C., according to her official website. Her background includes previous service in both chambers of Wyoming’s state legislature and as state treasurer.

In addition to supporting legislative efforts like preserving national forest trails and community service initiatives in Wyoming, Senator Lummis holds degrees in animal science, biology and law from the University of Wyoming.[source] She is recognized for her focus on policy matters affecting both her home state and broader national interests.
