Your votes mattered! Last night, the Mayor and Council unanimously chose Design No. 2 as the final design for the upcoming Cummings Drive Water Tower rehabilitation project. Design No. 2 garnered more than 50 percent of the votes when the City polled residents in a recent FlashVote survey (Results: https://bit.ly/3ti0BkU).Work on the water tower will begin in early 2023 and will include much more than a fresh new look. Crews will also add a submersible mixer that will improve water quality along with a new fall protection system, access hatch, ladder, and several other important upgrades. The entire project, both inside and out, will be complete before summer 2023.As the project progresses, we’ll keep you in the loop on the City’s Communication channels.
